A set of photos kept by the University of Washington glaciology group have recently been archived. This includes photos taken by Ed LaChapelle during the first seasons of field work at Blue Glacier and during construction of the permanent research hut at Snow Dome. There are many terminus photos taken over numerous years from the ground and from the air. Many of the higher quality photos have been scanned and a sampling of them are shown below.
