Magnetotelluric Studies of the Altyn Tagh Fault

In collaboration with Wang Fei of the Beijng Research Institute of Uranium Geology, we have been analysing MT collected across the Altyn Tagh Fault in Gansu Province, China. This is a left-lateral, strike-slip fault of similar dimensions to the San Andreas Fault.

This page is underconstruction, but some initial resistivity models and their fit to apparent resistivity and phase data are attached below.
