ESS Annual Awards Ceremony
The Department of Earth and Space Sciences (ESS) held its annual Honors
and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 28th, 2009 at 3:30 pm in JHN-102.
Numerous awards, honors, and scholarships were given out, including the
Barksdale Distinguished Service Award (Ed Mulligan), Faculty Excellence
in Teaching Award (Liz Nesbitt), David A Johnston Prize for the top
graduate student (Sanjoy Som and Aaron Wech), and the Merrill Prize for
the top undergraduate student (Ryan Erickson).
