Structural-damage Images from Sempu Island, East Java

All of these images were taken between 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 23, 1994 by Benjamin Cook.
On the mainland in Sendangbru harbor, a tsunami-transported fishing boat caused this damage to a fish-processing plant.
Additional damage caused by the tsunami-transported fishing boat to the fish-processing plant shown in the previous image.
The fishing boat was transported several hundred meters up the harbor past the fish-processing plant before being deposited on a bank. Benjamin Cook (1.9 meters tall) is shown standing in front of the boat for scale.
