BARREL 2019 Science Campaign

payload 7A quicklook info

The first flight of the 2019 science campaign launched from near McMurdo Station, Antarctica at UT 12:33:17 29Dec2019. Links below are mostly to smaller png files; change png to pdf in the plot urls to retrieve higher resolution pdf versions. For the trajectory figure, colors are suppressed until 17Mar2020, then change at the start of each UT day. UPDATE: processor reset when batteries ran low on 09Apr2020, due to shorter days. Data acquired after that reset are not shown.

Currents for the 3 heaters should be used only to distinguish between on/off states.

Below are text files of position, differential pressure, and solar panel temperature values, in the format (date, time, latitude, longitude, altitude, pressure, panel1, panel2, panel3, panel4), with pressure value in Pascals, temperatures in Celsius, and altitude in km, at one minute cadence. The fill value for position data is -999. Pressure values after UT 00:04 14Mar2020 are not valid.

24-hr fast spectra are produced after end of UT day

Something unusual around UT 20:39:38 01Jan2020, seems too slow for a GRB. 01Jan2020
