Greyson's Eleven was an eleven-motor, two stage, cluster-on-cluster rocket. The first stage was Winglee's Wild Ride, along with one of the smallest computers ever assembled in the class and a reinforcing transition. The second stage (named the Spirit of Absurdity) was a four motor internal cluster rocket designed to light after the seven motors in the first stage had burned out. The rocket was a partial failure, resulting in the destruction of the entire first stage but the unharmed recovery of the Spirit of Absurdity. It was the first rocket at UW to be built with an internal cluster and, at the time, it held the record for most motors lit simultaneously.
