Week 1: Intro to solar system

Overview:-

A survey of the planets of the solar system suggests that only plausible candidates to be Earth, Mars and Venus. The star is quite average, in the middle of its lifespan, and with a stable output allowing equable conditions to persist for long enough for development of life.


Assignments for the week:

1. Review math notes (below) for Friday, come to “Math Camp” with questions.

  1. 2. Read space physics notes during this week and weekend.

  2. 3.Homework 1 will be formally assigned on Friday, and due the following Friday (Oct 4th)
